About Creede

Creede is a charming, little Victorian mining village in Mineral County surrounded by surreal vistas of shadowy canyons and the majestic San Juan Mountains of Southwestern Colorado. The headwaters of the great Rio Grande have their start within Mineral County's borders, 96% of which is National Forest.

By all means, this is an artist's paradise, presenting for your viewing pleasure, a visual legacy of dramatic proportions. Creede boasts a Repertory Theatre of national fame, art galleries with works of art that rival the very best of taste, fine dining experiences, along with quaint and historical lodging, ranching, resorts and scenic camping facilities.
